A HOLY MONTH HAS COME
The new moon,
Has now been sighted,
Heralding a holy month*.
May Allah,
Bless me with His mercy,
And also bless my loved ones.
Hope renews,
Itself in my heart,
And I pray to my Lord God:
"Forgive me,
And all my loved ones,
And please shower Your favours;
On all those,
Who believe in You,
O Good Lord God of all worlds.
Without it,
We cannot move on,
So please rain Your blessings.
Only You,
And no one but You,
Can save us O my Allah.
Let this month,
End the trials I face,
And make me bathe in Your Grace.
O my God,
My Allah Almighty,
In You have I put my trust.
And thus I,
Have entrusted myself,
And all my matters to You.
And I thank
You, wholeheartedly,
For all You have blessed me with."
