WHAT A REVELATION!

Love's power is awesome, this much I know,

And even mightier is my faith in my God above,

So, no matter how much the dark forces of night,

Mock me now, I just won't be affected by fright.

The distance that now keeps both of us apart,

From each other, shall soon be shortened by God,

For my love for you, O my Lord's greatest gift,

Will surely work its magic and unite all our parts.

Once more I can hear Al Stewart and his song,

That we two have been on this stage long before,

That our bodies and souls to each other belong,

Yes, trust me, O my Woman Extraordinaire,

Our reunion will resound in the skies and beyond.

Crossing all the stages of living and dying,

We shall be one whole as we were in the beginning.

The deja-vu I experience quite often also tells me,

That I am yours only eversince God created us,

And also reaffirmed is the fact that you are mine,

Reveals to me what true love is all about...

For, through parting from each other have we come to know,

The meaning and definition and purpose of love divine,

And when we meet, God-willing, by His Will and His Grace,

We shall then also discover the secret of His Love...

For, even though he was in Eden, our father Adam,

God knew he was lonely without a companion,

And thus did God the Most Loving, gave Adam his Eve,

And told them to live in bliss and be happy together.

And even though the devil weaved his temptation,

And separated them and made both leave Eden,

God, through His mercy, for His best of creations,

Taught them that the power of true love conquers separation.

So, hearken and pay heed, O my age-old companion,

That I fear not the things that made us drift apart,

Though I spend my hours of long nights in sadness,

Of this I am sure that by God's will there will be reunion.

And even though I am hurt by the wounds of the ages,

And rent apart is my soul longing for your affection,

Yet I find refuge and comfort in God's protection,

From the unseen evil forces looming at all stages.

Yet, I am convinced that very soon shall this end,

My period of sadness will like the evening sun descend,

When you and I meet and become each other's again,

That day and that night will be the end to my pain.
