NIGHT-LADY (With responses by Michael Rehling and other poets)

Dark, foggy

light seeks its lost way,

Night enshrouds everything known

Trees with owls

dew on grass, like tears,

waiting to be wiped by me

Heart and mind

share all my secrets

with the black silent lady

Nobody else

can even steal a thought

but the black silent lady.

White forms dance

weaving their patterns

While I am only with night.

Black is good

to hide all my griefs

as tears mingle with dew.

1) MIKE REHLING'S RESPONSE:

Melancholy poem on the solace of night watches... Nicely   done...

Mike

2)  POETICPIER'S RESPONSE

Your hidden griefs

she wont reveal

but bring relief

that you can feel

Her soothing touch

can mean so much

to a weeping heart.

She will impart

comfort to you.

As is her right

my lady night

3)REDSTORMY'S RESPONSE

I never know quite what to say to sad writes even though I do them myself. My instincks make me want to fix it even if I can't. All in all though sad it is well written.

Red

4) BEKI LYNN RESPONDS:

incredibly beautiful my friend - sad yes but there is a comfort night offers that day cannot and you have bespoken it well. Beki applauds...
