A MEMORY OF MY SCHOOL DAYS

Sand drifts far away

stoned trees stand

A friend nowhere.

The lone boulder shakes

The Cypress tree swirls

But she's nowhere.

Teardrops flow

Uncontrollably

As in the distance

I see her stare.

A loving hand can break

All man-made chains

And a woman with her love

Can Paradise reclaim.
