LINES INSPIRED AFTER A TIRING DAY
The phone bells ring and news fills the room
But I am exhausted and overtaken by gloom.
When boredom and depression don't leave me alone
How can I say hello to someone on the phone?
O how I long to show the wounds of my heart
But how when nobody wants to listen or to talk?
Everyone is worried, to each his own,
So I find myself completely alone.
Except for my faith in God there's nothing,
To prevent me from ending everything.
