I HOPE SO

The calm clouds float patiently,

The moon sets softly, slowly,

I wait as always and nothing changes,

But I know, you will, certainly.

The blueness of dawn offers hope,

The drowsy head sometimes droops,

The waves come forward and sprinkles drops,

As one more night passes quietly.

The misfortunes and debts I keep bearing,

Even at times it is very hurting,

The tension and anxiety rob away sleep

Tranquilisers have become a part of me.

In the darkness of night I thank my God,

His blessings hang over my memory,

The pain within becomes bearable,

As I remember others' misery.

If only you could try and fathom,

What all I am facing for the family,

You will, I hope, will surely change,

And reshape the pattern of our destiny.
