My Fate

Scared to fall,

Scared to hurt,

I know you'll leave,

Without a single word.

“This time it will be me”

You said that last time,

I was dumb enough to believe you,

My heart's already broken;

My heart’s already worn;

My heart already fell to the floor.

You picked it up and stitched it back together;

You threw me down,

Just to see if i’d still love you,

The pain was too much,

Now i’m the girl,

you once knew,

I wish I knew,

I wish I listened,

To everybody who told me;

You were up to no good..
