tonight

I shall shed some tears next to the moon light,

for once my eyes will mimic

the glitter of the stars on the water,

I shall place my hands in the soft skin of your body,

circle motions without a thought,

the breeze for once

will simply settle and no sensation of delight

will be In effect,

the great splashing waves

will not have my attention

as I would see them as life,

the moon simply a light for I not lose sight,

not the glow to enlighten my path,

the stars

I will see as simple

dirty spots that have attached

to the big black background,

mermaids from within will sing and sing,

my ears will be sealed

for there incantations will not be of effect this day,

the wind, will go apart,

for the spirit and energy I have within,

is deflecting the dancing wind,

for I have lost a part of me,

questions grow in my mind,

I want to lay and not get up,

yet I know the waves might reach my location,

the sands will be soft for I to sink,

for I am not a shell,

yet I stand and walk for a tomorrow
