The architect degree
was place on us
as god gave his blessings,
“I give you life,
and I give you this,
the wonderful things on this earth,
a pen, a pencil, eraser,
3 white pages in blank,
the mind, a heart,
and something you need
to find out when you finally
rest in one place”,
then your out to the wonders of earth,
the advice and plans are there,
is up to you
with your architect degree
to draw the plans
that you would follow,
hold that wooden marker
which would be your life,
flesh, heart, mind begin to walk,
straight lines, then you curve,
if they dont seem right,
use the eraser to erase the bad,
if the fluid spills on the paper
crumbled it off,
because there is always a second chance,
show it to people ask for reference,
have stencils to get the right figure,
take your time,
cause the plans
have to come out right,
nicely done,
dont used the creation of shadows,
pen makes the figure more sharp,
make it come to life,
the wind may try
to make your paper fly away,
but grasp it with your flesh
dont let it go,
cause the wind
cant have the power
to eliminated your architect design,
have it perfect,
erase as you desired,
but never have a deliberation
in your mind,
when is done you have to be sure
what you created can be a reality,
and can indeed be built,
then you will find
the greatest critic
our lord will see,
and will tell you
if you are a great designer
or should just stay in line,
but dont worry it would be ok,
cause remember our lord gave us 3 papers,
the first was spill with ink,
it has been thrown away,
the second you showed to him
he said not that good,
but dont sit an cry because
remember one more page is by your side,
and you are an architect
of your own life,
I can just suggest and see,
but I can never take the pencil
