What I Did Wrong

I know that I shouldn’t believe a word that you say

But I do it anyway

There is something in your eyes that tells me it’s alright

When you needed me I was always there I always cared

My closest filling I shared but you were just pretending to care

Why did you say yes if you were filling like this at the start

Were you just trying to rip my heart apart

Just trying to take control make you fill better about yourself

I poured out my heart to you and I saw yours melt

There is no way that you can tell me nothing is what you felt

I saw it in your eyes I could tell by the words that you used to say

Stop talking I am going to break your heart before you walk away

I just want you to see the man that you could have had

Wake up to breakfast in bed roes pedals in your bubble bath

When ever you were crying I would find a way to make you laugh

What ever you wanted you could have had

Its just to damn bad look into to my eyes I can say that I fell for you

I truly think that I could have loved you

Just like the weather smiles and hearts change

When you said those words to me tears fell from my face like rain

It’s unexplainable what I felt you know you always hear that love hurts

But you never hear what it fills like when it works

In my mind it’s the next best thing to heaven

I swear that your dreams would have come true and your wishes you would of got more than seven

I gave you a chance but I didn’t get one all I received was a broken heart

If your wondering yes I still fill lonely when were apart

Every time I take a sip of this drink im trying to wash you away but I just think of you more

Heart broken and sore please tell me what for

For once just look into my eyes and tell me what I did wrong

If you didn’t love me why did you hang on for so long

This is something that no one should ever have to go through

But every single day someone does I just didn’t see it in you
