He was sitting on his couch
With shivers down his arms
We knew something had gane wrong
And someone was i harm
His heart was beating faster
On the door he heard a knock
He walked don the long hall
And slowly twisted the lock
He turned the knob, opened it up
And saw the blinking lights
Standing right in fromt of him
Is a man with a tear in his eye
Your daughter was in an accident
Im sorry to tell you this
But her and some of her friends were drunk
And tried to stop, but missed
Ill meet you at the hospital
Shes not ok you see
We dont know if she will livbe
Or how serious this may be
The man was just standing
He passed out and we heard a thunk
The policeman said underneath his breath
Thats what happens when people drive drunk
