Troubled by Anticipation

It was fairly new, this animosity with Anticipation. She hadn't always been so abhorrent of scheduling time and indeed would even plan for unforseen delays by arriving everywhere early. But she no longer made plans or scheduled anything anymore and if there was some sort of appointed date on the horizon which required an obligated response, a relative's birthday perhaps or a family gathering, she would get twitchy until the day was safely bypassed. She felt that the uneasiness arose from the unnaturalness of those uniformed blocks on the calendar, the arrogance of ego's attempts to control Time by bending it to its whim & fancy, trying to reign in Synchronicity and somehow steal beauty from Serendipity. Now she left all things to the forces of Good Fortune that work their magic in hidden diverse ways, secure in the knowing that the less she interferes the better.
