the bat and the catwoman

[a variation on "The Owl and the Pussycat"]

Batman and Robin returned to the mansion,

After once again saving the day,

Robin thought he was funny, Bruce had lots of money;

(Some suspected that Robin was gay,)

Bruce went down to the Batcave below,

And sang in a heartbroken voice,

“Oh beautiful Kitty, how I love you so,

Oh, why couldn’t I be your choice?

Your choice,

Your choice!

Oh, why wouldn’t I be your choice?”

In the depths of despair, Batman tore up the lair,

And went to find Catwoman’s trail,

He searched quite awhile in his normal “Batstyle,”

But saw not a whisker or tail.

When Batman came home, he heard the “Batphone,”

Gordon needed him to stop a crime,

Catwoman, it seemed, had hatched a new scheme,

And they had to get there in time,

In time,

In time,

And they had to get there in time.

“Dear Cat, are you willing to stop all this killing?

And come with me to bed?”

There was love and lust, and to Robin’s disgust,

They were married next day by Alfred.

Identities concealed were henceforth revealed,

The Commissioner sent his regards,

Robin was a fruit, so they gave him the boot,

And replaced him with Jean Luc Picard,

With Picard,

With Picard.

And replaced him with Jean Luc Picard.
