Invisible

Our love, it is invisible,

Not seen by mortal eye,

Instead, it dwells inside our souls,

Ever wondering when to fly,

Freedom is never known to us,

And no acceptance is offered,

It seems that by all that surround us,

Happiness is not prefered,

Dreams are never lost to us,

But sometimes them seem to disappear,

And my reality disolves into weeping,

As your voice I long to hear,

My arms ache to only embrace you,

At the just the thought of us I shiver,

I can almost feel you near my now,

And at that thought, too, I quiver,

Someday victory will come our way,

God will look down on us and smile,

Or life, my love, will know no bounds,

We must wait but a little while,

So don't suffer, my dear, the little things,

Just consider the overall joy,

You and I will be happy one day,

Despite their efforts, we shall not be destroyed.
