Never can I confess what it is I feel

Never can I even acknowledge it is real,

For I fear you will run away from me,

Because of all my feelings for you,

 you are just starting to see.

Never can I let you know my friend,

that it is you with whom I want to be,

Because you always speak

of the other you like

and sadly that person has never been me.

How can I dare rupture this fine balance,

I have started between us two.

If only in hopes that you will acknowledge,

everything I know that I

feel inside my heart for you.

Never can I express my deepest love,

No matter how many nights I lay awake,

I cry.

Because I'd rather love you eternally from a far,

than to tell you, I'd rather

Die.
