* The places we don't look

Folder:
2004

You can tell me I should only look

in gardens and seasides and a cloud-filled sky

but in the crowded rooms full of

dizzying lights

soul-shaking music

moving bodies

somewhere among the lyrics of

"shake it harder"

hands around waists

half-finished bottles of beer

somewhere among all that sensuality

is God.

No, it's true.  I saw him there.

He told me he missed dancing.
