it cannot bear our pain any longer.
It does not understand why
we have wrapped ourselves in chains,
and we cannot break free.
We all struggle, and then we wonder why.
We have put up walls and we have broken down the bridges between our islands.
We have blinded ourselves
We cannot see where we are going and then we wonder why.
There are a few among us who are free,
and they reach out to us
to help
but we are chained
and they cannot get through the walls
and we are unable to see them
and know there is hope.
