One day, i will fly high

but, for now, i'll just sigh

while i look up into to the skies

and hope and pray my faith never dies

Pushing, working, sweating; breaking

slowly, but surely i am something in the making

but for for now, i will just sigh

Everyday is a new beginning

a new adventure that life will be bringing

another new opportunity to fly high

to push, never to surrender, to try until i cry

because one day, i will fly high

but for now, i will just sigh

While i wait, for another dawn

another day to be born

yet another new chance at life, to succeed

a new battle and insecurities to feed

Will luck smile on me today, at long last?

Will i get to reap the rewards of all my sweat and tears from the past?

Another day has gone,

another battle unwon,

But i will not fear,

i will not surrender because i know my time to shine is near

for now, i will just sigh

and keep my eyes to the sky
