Do you think we'd hold on as tight
If we knew we didn't have to let go.

Do you think we'd work as hard to impress
I f we knew neither would ever leave

Do you think we'd ever care
If we knew God was never watching?

Do you think?
Would it work?
Do you even care?

Do you think we would hold on to
   each other as tightly as we do
If we knew we didn't have to
   let go and leave
Do you think I'd stay nestled
   in your arms molded to you
If I knew I'd be here in the morning
   not stealing away in the night
