Platitudes in Multitudes

Black cat on the doorstep
Bad omen, bad omen
Failures and disappointments
Crowd me every day
Can't get out of this downing pull
Can't get free of this platitude
Everything will be alright
Let's just wait and see
Can't get free of this multitude
It'll look better tomorrow
Look forward not back

AHHHHHHHHHHHH

But I don't want to
The pain is real right now
I don't want to
I need the world to go away.
My place is gone
My misery compounds
Around and around
It just won't go away
There's someone else
Someone else to take my place.
I feel pulled into the downing pool.
