mama never told me about life

mama never told me about love

and some times i wish i could

have a  mama said moment

i feel i learned alot but where were ya mama

i felt like you led me astray like you didnt

care which way i went

but i know the best advice  

was that mama didnt show me the way

she let me choose my own

and when i ask where you are at

youve always been there to anser back

mama didnt tell me how to be a man

mama let me find it on my own

i oh you mom

cause sometimes i wondered

if all the awards and grades ever mattered

when all i wanted was a hug

for you to tell me that i love you.

i try to tell you every time we talk

its not what mama said

that matters anymore

its what mama

did

that makes all the difference in my life

and i thank you for that.
