You live and dream for the day you will find love

It becomes addictive and painful; it becomes a drug

You are mislead, mistreated and you stray away

Life becomes impossible, worthless and you live by the day



One day you find out what you wanted, isn’t really what you need

All life’s promises of love and desire, is not like you read

All your hopes and aspirations was never really meant to be

And there is more to life, than what the eyes can see



Open your eyes, breathe the air and take a look around

For a ball can only bounce back, if it hits the ground

Be strong, be courageous and let go of the pain

Cause the sun always shines bright after the rain



When you really love someone, you’ll learn to let loose

And be happy for the one whose arms she choose

Look in her eyes with a smile and walk away

For yesterday can’t be today and tomorrow is a brand new day
