Fable
Long time ago the Gods were bored, so they started to play with marbles. During the game they found themselves distracted by a beautiful comet that was passing by, but during that distraction one of the marbles fell. The marble fell into the dark and empty space, until it landed on a misunderstood and dead planet, but it wasn’t just a marble, it was “The Marble”. This marble gave to the planet fertile soil, big oceans, majestic mountains, imposing volcanoes, small plants, big trees, colorful fruits and vegetables. At the end of the game the Gods realized that a marble was missing and they saw that it was on a distant planet. The effect that caused on this planet was incredible, so they decided to leave the marble on the planet. After millions of years they realized that the things that the marble put in the planet were dying, because nobody was taking care of them. It was in that moment when the Gods decided to take living organisms to take care of everything on earth, but not only to take care of it, also to enjoy it. The gods send what they called “animals”, and all sorts of animals they send. The send monkeys to take care of trees, and to enjoy the fruits. They send fishes to clean the ocean, and to swim freely through it. They send birds to explore every corner of the planet, and to fly free over it. They send elephants to help other animals, and to enjoy mud. The Gods send millions of animals, of different kinds, species, and colors. Everything was joy, happiness, and fun, until there was a little bit too much fun. The monkeys, while being bored, mock other animals and stole their food. Wolfs, while bored, played aggressively with other animals until they hurt them. Like this a lot of bad relations begin to form between animals, and tension was present in the air. The Gods were surprised because they thought that it was going to work well, that the animals could coexist in harmony, but they didn’t. So they send some more animals, but these ones were guardians. They send the eagle, to patrol everything from the skies, and the shark, to patrol everything from the water. Finally, they knew every animal needed a leader, even the guardians, a strong and impotent leader that everyone respected, so they send a lion, the lion was their king. But mostly who will maintain the order over the earth and between all living things. Gods now realize that neither animals nor the planet needed them. So they continue playing with the marbles, taking no care of them if fall, but it if does, they knew something unusual and wonderful would be born.
