I miss… the sound of your heartbeat

I miss… the feel while holding your hand

I miss… watching you sleep

I miss… dancing with you to the Dave Steffen band



I miss… the smell of your hair

I miss… your touch

I miss… your kiss in the midnight air

I miss… your smile, very much



I miss… our after church meal

I miss… hearing you sing

I miss… the glance your eyes would steal

I miss… you by my side while I dream



I miss… the Parker ramblings and Joshua smiles

I miss… the “ut-ohs” and “hello there’s"

I miss… the music while traveling the miles

I miss… the love two hearts beating as one shares



Yes, I miss... many different things

God knows that this is true

I miss… all that life together with you brings

But most of all, I miss… you
