I waited for you to come
in the quiet of the night
I thought I heard your voice
As my heart beat out loudly
Awakened neither to nor from
you were nowhere in sight
empty filled my hearts rejoice
still beating ever so proudly
Night gave way to morning sun
shadows of dark silhouetted the light
beckoned the spirit for a choice
partly clear now, or partly cloudy
Rained down Carnival of emotion
for Sunshine's nowhere in sight
time for face so moist
await my fate so cowardly
