The shadows that cast darkness on my spirit
Cannot be mistaken
For your sun that now shines on another
Beholds to another, yet you still hold my heart
I guess things are always for the better
And I know, they are often not as they seem
But my undying love for you refuses to go away,
Or to be squelched by time, or the hour that has passed
No, my love,
My love for you
Presses on with reckless abandon
It will not stop
It even refuses to fade
And though this one is written different
The words in this one do not rhyme
My love for you still remains the same
Undying, unconditional
