But never could he express his love
Too afraid to taint her untouched heart
With his unresponsive, overused one
His soul as dark as the night sky
Engulfing everything in darkness
No light nor hope was visible
So no one could save him from himself
He turned to a friend
A friend that made him forget his past
It never judged or crucified him
So he kept drinking the magical liquid
Until his body was numb
His feelings forgotten
His past unremembered
Her face unimagined
And his love for her non-exsist
