Hatred - how it destroys
it's like a thick black cloud
destroying and smotherinng
everything in its reach
It destroys families
corrupts lovers
damages friendships
and totally wipes out
good relationship with God
It shortens your life
makes you ugly
keeps you anxious and stressed
You don't trust anyone
when you hate
and worse -
no one trusts you.
Your life is meaningless
hate makes you worthless
Love can't shine its golden rays
through the murky black clouds of hatred
If you should be fortunate enough
family and friends will still
love you enough to pray
for God's mercy to reach through
and soften the heart
