Through these eyes can you see my state of mind?
Can you feel the trembling the shaking
My body feels like it’s numb from this taking
But has disappointment and sadness in your life
Affected you in such a way
That you just didn’t know what to say?
You would rather sit there and look the other way?
Ever had anger rip through your fists?
You just couldn’t even begin
to describe the anger, disappointment jagged pain inside?
Can you see it through my eyes?
I don't mean to despise you
But just something that someone looks so forward to
Seem to come to an end before your very eyes
Excitement built inside
Were you able to see the excitement in my eyes?
Before it was taken
can you see the brokeness through these eyes?
