The Lonely Walk

I walk on broken glass
Through many eons past
Watch needles dragging skin
Break to bleeding
Vains dry with wicked lust
Cast in quiet dying flesh

To crave
So human a desire
Wishes twist perception
Until love blends
Seamless to the pain
And breath becomes a chore

To die with you
To walk through fire
Wasted and wane
For that I would forgive
Even the deepest of shames
For your eyes hold
My captive soul
