ADD, the field of thought.

Folder:
Feelings

Imagine an unkempt field.

Now imagine it in your head.

Now imagine a hummingbird.

Now imagine it in your head.

Now watch how it flitters and flies.

Going from flower to flower,

or, if you will, from thought to thought.

Lighting on one flower, then to the next.

Then to the next to the next to the next to the next.

Now imagine, if you will, more than one hummingbird.

Imagine 2, 5, 10, or 20.

Flitting, flying, lighting and lighting.

How do you keep track of all of this?

All of these trains of thought, these hummingbirds.

Lighting on your flowers of thought, hither and thither.

Your mind is in a jumble.

Thoughts come and go like seeds on the wind.

Author's Notes/Comments:

I think this is a fairly good explination of how the ADD mind works. Anybody agree?
