A Poem Of Physical Abuse

A punch is thrown,

a nose is broken.

She ran into a door.

A black eye,

a bloody nose.

"He's such a trouble maker!"

"Arn't they all?"

On the floor,

someone kicks,

in the stomach.

A trip into a table.

These excuses,

and many more,

come from the mind,

of the abusive one.

It goes on.

A fight rages,

a hand pushes,

a neck is broken,

on the stairs.

The fight is over.

For the life is over.

Who is left to blame?
