Depression Of Love I was left in darkness, with no one home to keep me safe.
My hands tremor terribly, with such horrid haste.
You left the windows open, and the doors unlocked.
My heart pounded harder as the clock ticked and tocked.
You left me heartbroken like a knife through my chest.
Bleeding heavily in pain, I was set to my rest.
It was like I was nothing to you, and it was time to go,
now in the corner of darkness, there’s nothing left to show.
You come home because you missed me but you left me in fear,
For I was left alone in darkness, but it was you who killed me here.
You never said "I love you", you never said that you care.
I was left forgotten and now there’s nothing there.
I was left in darkness, with no one home to keep me safe.
For I was "kept" in darkness, and no one "would keep" me safe.
