For fixing scraped knees

and wiping my nose

when I'd sneeze

For all of your love

and restless nights

For helping with homework

and solving fights

For picking up the pieces

and holding things together

For making me wear a jacket

when I'd go out in the weather

For helping me deal with boys

and making me share my toys

For always understanding

without reprimanding

For fixing my hurt

For sewing my shirt

And wiping the dirt...

off of my face

For always cheering me on

even if I don't win the race

For fixing my hair

and telling me not to stare

For crying with me

For showing you've cared

For always being prepared

For all of your support

and helping me write that report

For being my mom

For Always being there

Especially when it seemed

no one else could care

For helping me grow up

and become what I am

I love you mom

And I thank you ma'am

For all of your love

and dedication

through all the chaos
