morning light that pervades the joy of everything
silent trees and majestic,
reach the sky,

red sunsets, the kiss of heaven
before the dark of night
stars that shine from above

rocks of haunting beauty
tell the life of the earth,
for millions of years

blue oceans, meandering or violent,
the earth's oceans shine throughout the universe,
we love our blue planet.
