Inside

No one knows whats inside

no one comprehends the pain.

Being torn apart by their lies

my life is lived in vain.

It seems no one hears my cries

to stop this endless rain.

Seems like no one really tries

to put an end to this wreck bound train.

Yet everyone claims to care

everyone thinks that they know.

Everyone thinks they can share

the weight of this heavy load.

They don't know of the burdon

that comes with loving them the way I do.

They don't know of the hurting

Because the pain I feel I don't show.

I don't show the tears that I've cried

for the pains that they have felt.

I don't tell them how they're lives

have taken a toll on my heart, it melts.

Yet everyone claims to care

everyone thinks that they know.

Everyone thinks they can share

the weight of this heavy load.

They cut me with their harsh words

they rip me and make me bleed.

They enjoy watching me hurt

they sit there and chuckle with glee.

For they know I'll take the burns

that come from the flames of their needs.

They know that I'll stay and yearn

for the day that they'll leave me be.

Yet everyone claims to care

everyone thinks that they know.

Everyone thinks they can share

the weight of this heavy load.

And still I won't hint to them what I hide

the scars from their words don't show.

I will never let them see what's inside

they don't deserve the privelege to know.

But I love them and think forever in my mind

how they would act if they knew of all the blows.

From the hits that I take, the pain they won't find

what I keep inside, forever they won't know.
