So now comes the time to tell you

But can I really let the words out

Is this something that is really true

I think so, but I do have some doubt

My feelings lasted such a little time

How could they be over so soon

But I know I have not lost my mind

So my thoughts should be in tune

I will tell you now, I will tell you truthfully

You borrowed my heart for a week or two

You did not steal like a bully

For I gave it willfully to you

But now I am taking it back, to be forever mine

I hope you didn't want to keep it

I hope with my heart that you will be fine
