I smile back on the memory

Of the happiest night of my life

I don't know how it started

But I know it will never end

I play it over and over

Like my favorite old time film

Thinking back on actions

And all the love that was shed

My heart beats faster than ever

I don't know if I could face you now

How would it be possible

In this simple night we truly met

I never knew you so well

The implausable happened

You sank into my heart

And you grabbed ahold of a string

You are with me always

And the memory of the kiss will never leave

It was perfect and wonderful

Nothing about it was wrong

Or even possibly misguided

But how could I be fooled by such an act

Especially under the circumstances

That it was only a dream
