This is your goodbye lullaby,
This is your goodbye song,
I put this off, but still I saw
It coming all along.

I would write you a symphony
More lovely than the birds.
One with a soft, sweet melody
That sings but has no words.

I know this is no masterpiece,
I know that it's not perfect,
But why would I put into this
More effort than you're worth?

And so, goodbye, my boy; adieu!
I hope life treats you well!
And then, my dearest, after that,
I hope you burn in hell.
