We’ll steer our way through

All the tears

All the fears

All the years

Until we reach the shore

This boat is my bride

Till we are swallowed by the tide

This is the last time I can call you mine

I will let the salt water fill my lungs

Before these two words are ever sung

It’s time for us to drown

Our cherished time is through

Hold me tight

Enjoy this sight

Just for tonight

Until the ocean eats us up alive

This boat is my jail cell

Ring the panic bell

Till it’s time to say “farewell”
