But I don’t want to stop living this beautiful dream

Because the only time I’m ever truly happy

Is when my eyes are stitched and shut tight at the steadfast seams



That’s the only time I get to see your pretty face

And feel the safety of sleeping in your angelic arms

Please, please, just continue to rock me gently

And promise to shelter me from all potential hazard and harm



It’s time to wake up

Was this all just a deceiving Devil’s dream?

In this wicked reality, she is nowhere to be found

I guess my Earth angel finally grew her invisible wings

From this nightmare and allow my shattered soul to bleed out another silent scream
