There’s something evolving out there tonight

Something too big to capture, yet too small to see

And we’re too blind to realize the alterations happening to you and me

And we’re too blind to recognize the transformations happening to society

And we’re too deaf to hear the screams of surrender just beyond the enemy lines

And we’re too dumb to comprehend that when we finally realize our mistakes we’ll already be out of time

Cause there’s no turning back once you launched the attack

Yea, there’s no turning back once you stab in the back

Escape your cage, run away from the light

There’s something evolving in the Earth tonight

Something saturated with assurance, yet sprinkled with mystery

Insignificant to some, but will drastically change the course of history

And we’re destroying our planet every time we give birth to new technology

And we’re demolishing our dreams when hope has seen its demise

And we’re annihilating our aspirations whenever the gas prices radically rise

Cause there’s no more plight when the world starts to fight

Yea, there’s no more plight when salvation is out of sight
