Little garden hoses

Lay on the ground,

I know today

The Fairies will be around.



They have bags of seeds

Leaning against the wall,

Hoes and garden rakes too

The Fairies will have a ball.



Tills churn up the soil

The Fairies are having fun,

There is still so much

Work to be done.



One Fairy stands on a flower

Making sure everything's right in the garden,

But, a Fairy has to work hard

Every now and then.



The work is all finished

Fairies stand back and smile,

They are proud of themselves

The hard work was well worth while.
