Little Turtle On A Log

Little turtle on a log

Basks in the warm sun,

It takes a long rest

While the others swim and have fun.

Little turtle on a log

Suddenly goes to sleep,

His brothers and sisters

Try not to make a peep.

Little turtle on a log

Dreams of wonderous things,

That he can fly up so very high

And all animals listen as he sings.

Little turtle on a log

Finally wakes himself up,

Jumps into the nice cool lake

Trying to get away from the pup.
