I thought mothers

were supposed to be

there for their children,

I had a hard life

growing up with

just one parent.



I was five years old

when my parents divorced,

it was extremely

hard on me.



My mother used to

bring me in from

playing outside after she said

it was suppertime,

I'd be in a

big hurry to get upstairs

to eat and found

supper wasn't even

started yet.



I couldn't understand

why she would

treat me the way she did.



Mothers are supposed

to be caring, loving and honest

mine never was.
