I am a shadow, an unlikely warm source.
my shades will darken from brighter lights,
my own a mere candle dim but bright.

I am a shadow I observe and plan,
I think and pause to any possible regret.
You people all shine like crimson drops of sun and I the black stain the singed on the rug.
I Am a Shadow my nature is a constant shift,
My loyalty only a myth.
Don't fool yourself into believing, my actions are without greed,
I'll stick around the brighter lights and dance in midnight shade.

I am a shadow, spiteful and selfish, a child with no bounds, a soul turning lifeless.
I am a shadow, a solitary crow, and i search for someone who is pure as fresh snow,
I am a shadow, much darker than i seem but stay in my grayness for my darkness a danger, even to me.
My Light my light, pure as fresh snow, brighter that the sun so I the Shadow may grow to glow.
