In the shadows of 7:30
Nothing lasts forever
Time stands still for no man
But I'm laying here within a blink of eternity
and even if only in my mind
the sands stop flowing
while I hold you in my arms
my heartbeats racing, but
it slowing as it pounds out an unforgettable tune
the sun it wants to shine upon us, but
I'd rather just hide behind these curtains
lost in the moment
then the sand falls,
if only I could tilt this hourglass on it's side for one more day.
