Across the hill, and under the bridge

We're always trying to run away from something, but how far can we get away

Never far enough it seems

Someone always knows or remebers who you are

never enough distance between the today's past and tommorrows

By the time we realize we are running away from nothing, we have just imagined our fear, time might be too late

Can we back track quick enough, or have we put too much distance between us and the memories that we've tried to leave behind.

We turn around and go across the hill and under the bridge and look face to face with the demons that have haunted our sleepless nights

Now that we've looked our fears in the eyes we can't dwell on it

Now to go back on with what is left of our lives that hasn't been wasted running away and then trying to catch up with what we are running away from.

Unless we stand up to life as it comes to us we will forever be caught in our backtracks.
