2001 I want so badly to tell you
It is so hard to keep from you
I’ve told everyone else this truth
But I cannot bring myself
To bear you such awful news
I loved you but past is past
And now I cant allow it to go on
Not like this, not without love
But how can I bring myself
To tell you what I cannot understand
I can’t explain it although I’ve tried
The heart does as it so chooses
And mine choose the love of another
I shall be around to say “ hello”
But “I love you” will not be heard
This wont happen until I tell you
I’m not too sure I can do it
It will bring about so much pain
I only do it for the greater good
We’ll all be happier in the end…Right?
