One Poem Every Day

When I first entered

The red brick building

It was a maze of unfamiliarity

So strange

So unknown

But time ticked on

I made a home

A cozy little abode

But as soon as I settled

Yet simaltaneously after an eternity

I had to leave

I took my home apart

I hugged my friends goodbye

With teary eyes

I left my makeshift nest

Feeling so blue

That I could blend in with the sky

Author's Notes/Comments:

Entry number... I have no idea anymore. I'm late on this one, but I wrote it on 8/9/14. I've been on vacation so there's going to be a flood of stuff from me right now. Hope you enjoy this!
